Jay Foley, Executive Director
Responding to an explosive rise in identity theft crimes, Jay and
Frequently addressing national, state and community organizations, Jay travels throughout the
Foley’s background includes more than 20 years experience in project management, customer service training, and sales and database management.
He was previously affiliated with Memorial Guardian Plan, BKM Total Office of California, Pitney Bowes, Inc. and the U.S. Navy.
His background with the U.S. Navy, along with training for his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator certificates, has provided Foley with the technical expertise to understand the use of technology in the commission of identity theft crimes — and to advise both consumers and businesses how to avoid becoming victims.
Through the ITRC, Foley has participated in multiple forums with the President’s Identity Theft Task Force.
In 2007, the ITRC was awarded a national grant from the
U.S. DOJ / Office for Victims of Crime for identity theft assistance and education.
