Warning - New Insurance Scam

NEW SCAM- Beware of calls from life insurance companies claiming they hold a policy for someone who recently died. They may ask for your Social Security number to verify who you are. They may even tell you payments are overdue, and in order to claim the full policy value, you need to give them a credit card number to complete the payments. This scam is starting in the South but can be expected to cross the country. HANG UP- Legitimate companies do not conduct business this way.
