Credit Freeze Law for North Dakota

  • Credit Freeze – House Bill 1417:

    • Effective as of July 1, 2007
    • Applies to all consumers.
    • No fees for ID theft victims with valid copy of a police report or police case number documenting the identity theft, investigative report, or complaint to law enforcement agency.
    • For others, up to $5 to place or temporarily lift.
