Cyber criminals are targeting GoDaddy customers with a clever phishing scam.

Who Is It Targeting: GoDaddy customers

What Is It: GoDaddy website owners are being phished for account information from a GoDaddy address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The email is to update the individual their account storage needs to be updated and they need to click on a link in order to upgrade. Individuals are threatened with account shutdown if they do not comply.

What Are They After: Account Information,

How Can You Avoid It:  Do not click on suspicious links or give account information. Contact GoDaddy support to ask if this is a legitimate email and then report the scam.
