The insurance industry veteran led CyberScout’s global expansion in North America and Western Europe, forging partnerships with more than 16 of the top 20 U.S. property and casualty insurers, six of the top seven Canadian insurers and the top insurer in the U.K. His visionary leadership in the B2B space has made him a desired expert speaker on topics related to identity theft, data risk management and breach response. He is a graduate of Salve Regina University.
Paige L. Schaffer, Vice Chair, is CEO of the Global Identity Protection Services unit for Generali Global Assistance. Ms. Schaffer leads sales and marketing strategy and revenue growth initiatives, managing operations as well as global expansion. Schaffer began her tenure with Generali Global Assistance in 2007 and led North America Operations for both the emergent Travel Assistance business and the Medical Claims division, working with insurers, medical providers, and government contractors. Her passion for helping customers is demonstrated by the six Stevie awards for customer service that Generali Global Assistance has received under her leadership.
Matthew Donahue, Treasurer, is director of Market Planning for the Tax and Revenue business unit at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. His background is consulting for technology, security, privacy, and business strategy with experience in telecommunications, defense, and state government. Mr. Donahue headed successful change management initiatives with federal and state government agencies and he takes great pride in being part of the team that started the ongoing Identity Theft program at the Department of Revenue in the State of Indiana. He served his country as a communicator in the United States Army Special Operations. An Indiana native, Mr. Donahue earned both his MBA and bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
James Lee, Secretary, is an independent consultant and the former EVP, CMO and director of Waratek, an Irish application security company. A data protection and technology veteran, Lee served as Senior Vice President for Consumer & Public Affairs as well as Chief Marketing Officer for Atlanta-based data pioneer ChoicePoint. He also chaired two working groups for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) on identity management and privacy. Prior to joining ChoicePoint, James served as a global public affairs and communication executive at International Paper Company (NYSE: IP).
Paul Bond is a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, resident in its Philadelphia office. Mr. Bond focuses his practice in the areas of data security, privacy and artificial intelligence. Paul helps clients make the best use of new technologies, including opportunities for automation, while identifying and managing the relevant risks. He has helped defend clients from more than 75 putative class actions involving privacy and cybersecurity issues. In addition, Bond teaches Privacy Law Essentials for Corporate Counsel at Rutgers Law School.
Kevin Everhart is VP of Brand, Marketing & Innovation at Experian Consumer Services (ECS) in Costa Mesa, California. With more than 20 years of experience in marketing and research, he is responsible for all advertising, consumer insight, marketing and brand strategy at ECS. Focused on raising consumer awareness of the risks associated with identity theft, he has developed multiple national marketing campaigns for Experian’s consumer products. In 2017, Mr. Everhart launched the marketing and advertising campaign for Experian’s newest identity protection service, IdentityWorks. Prior to joining Experian, he held senior marketing positions at Mazda, Gateway, James Hardie and a start-up venture named WiseWindow, which was later acquired by KPMG.
Susan Grant is director of Consumer Protection with the Consumer Federation of America where she focuses on the issues of privacy, identity theft, telemarketing and other general consumer protection issues. Ms. Grant heads CFA’s Consumer Protection Institute, conducts CFA’s annual Consumer Complaint Survey, and is a recognized authority on combating consumer fraud and deception. Grant started her career in 1976 in the Consumer Protection Division of the Northwestern Massachusetts District Attorney’s Office and subsequently held positions at the National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators and National Consumers League before joining the CFA staff in 2008.
Michele Johnson is SVP for Government Affairs at Synchrony in Washington, DC and represents Synchrony on Capitol Hill. Prior to joining Synchrony, Michele established her public advocacy career in financial services. Most recently, she represented credit unions for the Credit Union National Association. Earlier in her career, she served in the office of U.S. Senator Kent Conrad (D – ND) and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of North Dakota. She received her juris doctor and bachelor’s degrees from the University of North Dakota. Ms. Johnson is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Mark Pribish is VP and Identity Theft Practice Leader for Merchants Information Solutions, Inc.. Mr. Pribish has helped lead the product line development, marketing and sales since 2005. Mr. Pribish is the author of the longest running monthly ID Theft column in the United States. His identity theft and cyber insurance experience has made Mr. Pribish a national thought leader and one of the leading identity theft risk management experts in the US. Mr. Pribish is a member of the Grand Canyon University Technology Advisory Board, Arizona FBI InfraGard Public Private Alliance, and FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association. Prior to joining Merchants Information Solutions, Inc., Mr. Pribish held senior level positions at AIG and Aon. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
Stewart Roberts is VP of Global Security for Qualcomm and manages the company’s brand protection and global security programs. Previously, he was a Special Agent with the FBI for 27 years spending 20 years of his career in the San Diego Field Office where he specialized in White Collar Crime investigations. As a Supervisor, he managed the Health Care Fraud Squad, the Applicant and Civil Rights Squad, and the Cyber Squad. He later served as a Unit Chief in the FBI’s Cyber Division, responsible for the national development of Cyber Task Forces and investigative support for international cyber investigations. From 2009 to 2013, he served as the FBI’s Legal Attaché in Rome coordinating joint operations with Italian and Maltese authorities to counter cyber, national security, and criminal threats.
James Ruotolo is senior director of products and marketing for the Fraud and Security Intelligence division at SAS. Before joining SAS, he was the director of strategic operations for the Special Investigations Unit for The Hartford Financial Services Group. Mr. Ruotolo holds a master’s degree in economic crime management and is the co-inventor of two patented fraud detection models, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a frequent author and speaker on fraud analytics technology.
Robert Siciliano is CEO of Safr.Me, which educates consumers about fraud prevention and personal security. He is a security awareness expert and private investigator committed to informing, educating and empowering people so they can protect themselves and their loved ones from violence and crime in their everyday lives, both in their physical and virtual interactions. Mr. Siciliano, a Certified Speaking Professional has a “tell it like it is” style and has authored three books on the subject of identity theft.
Eric Trapp is CSO at Sempra Energy headquartered in San Diego and has responsibility for Cybersecurity, Physical Security, and Technology Risk Management across the Sempra Energy family of companies in the United States, Mexico and South America. He previously held positions as Partner and North America Cybersecurity Lead at Accenture, Executive Director at EY, and Technology Director at Southern California Edison. Earlier in his career, Mr. Trapp served as a US Navy SEAL in active duty and as a reservist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing his master’s in Counseling/Psychology.
