What Is It: Scammers are posting fake pictures, pulled from other websites, and selling puppies online for very cheap. The victim pays for the puppy via wire transfer and never receives the puppy.

- Make sure a company is reputable by searching reviews online before making a purchase
- Ask for references of a breeder
