The Better Identity Coalition, the FIDO Alliance, and the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC) joined forces to present a full-day identity policy forum looking at “Identity, Authentication and the Road Ahead.” The identity policy forum featured a number of notable sessions and discussions, including:
- Release of the ITRC’s Annual Data Breach Report.
- Perspectives on skyrocketing identity-related cybercrime – and what policymakers should look to do about it.
- An update on passkeys and ways that the acceleration of FIDO authentication is finally enabling people to kill the password.
- Experiences from identity theft victims, who will share their stories.
