Below is a transcript and webinar of our podcast with James E. Lee, Chief Operating Officer of the Identity Theft Resource Center

Welcome to The Fraudian Slip, the Identity Theft Resource Center’s (ITRC) podcast, where we talk about all-things identity compromise, crime and fraud that impact people and businesses. Listen on Apple, Google, Spotify, SoundCloud, Audible and Amazon now.

Typically, on this podcast, we would introduce a topic, a guest expert, and our CEO, Eva Velasquez. However, this month, as we did last month, we are focusing on our signature Impact reports. In September, our CEO Eva Velasquez reviewed our Consumer Impact Report, that’s based on information gathered from victims of identity crimes and how those events have affected them both financially, but more importantly, non-financially.

This month, we have ITRC Chief Operating Officer James E. Lee on the podcast to talk about our companion publication to the Consumer Impact Report – the 2022 Business Impact Report by ITRC – which looks at the effect of cybercrimes on small businesses.

James presented the findings from this year’s study in a webinar which, through the miracles of technology, we have in a link below as this week’s podcast.
